Screen savers are one of the most lucrative sales, after sex sites. They actually serve no purpose, eat up processor resources and slow your PC down - often charging you for that privalige - nice.
The next time you are tempted to install one, ask yourself... do I really need it? Have I the proccessing power to use it without noticing, and if you have, what other programs could run faster? Another key issue is cost. Some venders offer screensavers for "free" - giving something which others pay for away? There is often a catch, and in this instant there often is. It is called Spyware. The software records internet use and reports back. Anti-Virus will not combat spyware. If you are looking for screensavers, I am sorry, but you will not find any here. If you realy have your heart set on one, please send me a PM (Private Message) an Email or post a software request. I am confident we can point you in the right direction. |
